Tropang Potchi ushers in its fifth season by moving to a new station and a new timeslot, with a new format.
Starting April 30, each episode follows a value-driven narrative that unfolds among the members of the Tropa in the spanking new Potchi house. Here, the kids learn how to deal with the different things they encounter in their young lives with the help of each other and their families. The Tropa also meets every Saturday at the Potchi house where they take turns exchanging stories about the different adventures they had from the previous week.
This week, Lianne nurses a 'tampo' over her OFW Mom's refusal to buy her a laptop. Meanwhile, Bianca shares how she conquers her fear of fun rides as Julian narrates his first time to 'fly'.
'Tropang Potchi' is a motley crew of kids with different talents and personalities namely, Julian Trono, Ella Cruz, Sabrina Man, Miggy Jimenez, Bianca Umali and Lianne Valentino.
Produced by Columbia, the candy company, and GMA-7, Tropang Potchi airs every Saturday at 9:00-9:30 a.m. on GMA 7 beginning April 30. It is directed by award-winning TV director Louie Ignacio. Last year, Tropang Potchi was also one of the programs awarded the ANAK-TV seal.

Nabanggit kasi ni Dingdong sa set ng I Heart You Pare na kundi niya mabibisita si *Marian sa shooting nito, either Subic o sa Batangas siya this Holy Week, pero dahil nakabalik na ang GF, magkasama pa rin silang pupunta sa Subic.
Sabi pala ni Dingdong, kung may chance, gusto niyang magbakasyon sa Maldives at siyempre pa, si Marian ang gusto niyang kasama.

From dancing and singing, Izzy Traznona hones her acting skills in a real-life story of a cursed woman in the "Kulam" episode of "Tanikala: Ang Lihim ng Ikatlong Aklat."
The first episode of "Tanikala: Ang Lihim ng Ikatlong Aklat" revolves around the story of a cursed woman. It stars Sexbomb dancer Izzy Trazona, Larina Tuesca, Cita de Leyos and Carlos Canlas.
Here is the synopsis of "Kulam":
Mercy experienced a curse of death from a legion of malignos as an innocent child that led to a series of life-threatening events as she was growing up. Mercy got married but she remained childless. She was then forced by her husband to consult an albularyo that resulted to a terrifying growth in her stomach which occurs every full moon. The evil scheme was brought upon her by a witch that only wanted to kill her and destroyher marriage as a fulfillment of her childhood curse. Will it be too late for Mercy?
"Tanikala: Ang Lihim ng Ikatlong Aklat" is a Holy Week presentation of CBN Asia. The episode "Kulam" airs 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, April 21, on GMA-7.

A whopping P1 million-peso cash prize, rewards from challenges and the chance to shine as a culinary A-lister – these are all at stake in the biggest cooking-reality game show on television, Kitchen Superstar.
Hosted by restaurant owner and chef Marvin Agustin, "Kitchen Superstar" premiered last Monday, April 4, on GMA-7. The cooking-reality game show will test the culinary skills of cook-contestants from all over the country. The contestants are from the auditions that were held in seven key areas in the Philippines – NCR, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Davao , Naga, Cebu and Iloilo .
“The positive response from the auditions shows just how rich our culinary culture and traditions are. This is the show not just for foodies but for every Pinoy,” Program Manager Karen Lumbo said.
The Top 3 from each area will converge in Manila on Day 1 of the "Kitchen Superstar" Showdown. The cook-contestants have to survive various kitchen showdowns to ensure that they emerge as the grand prize winner.
The Kitchen Showdowns - Mega-Showdown, Prize Showdown and Elimination Showdown – will not only test the contestants’ cooking skills but may also stretch them to their physical and/emotional limits. Every week, with the various showdowns, contestants stand to win more prizes and perks.
“One of the things I love about this cooking-reality game show is that it specifically gives a chance to those who have not been professionally trained to cook. These could be people who could not afford culinary training or those who own a simple and humble carinderia; as long as they qualify and have a passion for cooking, they have the chance to compete and pursue their dreams,” Marvin said.
"Kitchen Superstar" will have an interesting mix of judges – from the common carinderia cook to turo-turo regular customers to professional chefs and celebrities. The judges will determine who gets eliminated every week.
Three finalists each from NCR, Pangasinan and Iloilo, while two finalists each from Naga and Davao and one finalist each from Cebu and Pampanga completes the Top 15 of Kitchen Superstar.

Christian Broadcasting Network Asia's (CBN Asia) foray into producing horror-suspense telemovies, Tanikala, every Holy Week has been one of this season's much-awaited TV event. For the third installment of the Tanikala book, three special horror-suspense telemovies will be aired from Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday, 5 p.m., on GMA-7.
Tanikala features true-to-life stories of people who battled against a pure evil that tried to control their lives.
On Maundy Thursday, former Sexbomb girl Izzy Trazona will go from dancing and singing to tackling heavy drama as a wife under a mortal curse in Kulam.
While theater actor Icko Gonzalez, plays a young man spiraling into sex and drug addiction in Wasak on Good Friday. The episode also features John Arcilla and Roselyn Perez.
My role in Wasak is very challenging—emotionally and physically. But everyone was up for the challenge," says lead actor Icko. "I hope that people will listen to the message of our episode."
Beauty queen-turned-actress Miriam Quiambao faces her most challenging role as a demon-possessed faith healer in "Panata," which will air Black Saturday.
Miriam adds, "working with Panata Team was challenging and yet fulfilling. I even lost my voice for a week due to the number of times I had to shout. Everyone was working in the spirit of excellence."

Iza feels very excited on her latest project on primetime and feels honoured that Regine Velasquez personally chose her for the role. She is definitely looking forward to be working again with Dingdong Dantes and the rest of the cast members and production team and most especially the various production numbers and showdowns with the drag queens.
"I have no second thoughts accepting the role when it was offered to me. This is actually my first time to dabble in comedy and I welcome the opportunity to be working with Direk Andoy Ranay for the first time," shares Iza.
This week, viewers get to see Iza in her drag make-up, big wigs and multicoloured stilettos as Tonette who gets involved in a complicated love triangle between Kenneth (Dingdong) and Chito (Mark Anthony Fernandez).
Her predicament piles up even more when Mandy (Ehra Madrigal) discovers her secret affair with Kenneth. This startles everyone, most especially Nikki (Luanne Dy) who still has special feelings for Kenneth.
How will Kenneth handle the controversy on his reported romance with Tonette? Will this revelation completely strain his relationship with Nikki?
